Work History and Education

Caroline joined Cox Taylor in January 2019 after having worked at another litigation firm since 2010.  She became a member of the British Columbia Bar in 2012.  Caroline has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia and has successfully defended an application for leave to appeal to the Supreme Court of Canada.

Caroline's professional focus is on civil litigation particularly in Insurance, Construction, Land and Corporate Law.

With respect to her insurance practice, she has a broad range of experience in the defence of P&C claims, professional indemnity, municipal negligence and medical malpractice.

Caroline combines a determination to investigate and review all files thoroughly with an understanding of the practical and appropriate steps that should be applied to each different one.

Although Caroline's practice involves defending claims throughout B.C., she was born and raised in Victoria, a place she is happy to call home.

Caroline likes to spend her time outside of the office competing in equestrian show jumping competitions, at the farm with the horses, and with her dogs.
