Derek maintains a civil litigation practice.
His practice areas include insurance, construction, land use, and municipal law.
Work History and Education
Derek joined Cox Taylor in 2022, after practicing insurance law at a local boutique firm. He received his Bachelor of Arts from McGill University in 2014, and his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018. Derek was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 2019 and the British Columbia Bar in 2020.
Derek was born and raised in Saskatchewan. He enjoys road cycling and reading fiction.
