Areas of Practice
Emily’s legal practice focuses on civil litigation and dispute resolution. She is a strong advocate and has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia. Currently, Emily advises and represents clients with disputes regarding land use, development issues, municipal bylaws, title insurance claims, foreclosure matters, employment and WorkSafe classification for employers.
Emily is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, Canadian Bar Association and Victoria Bar Association.
Work History and Education
Emily serves as the secretary of the CBABC Victoria Young Lawyers Executive, she is a volunteer supervising lawyer with Pro-Bono Students Canada, and she is a board member of the registered charity Ready-to-Rent. Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) from Queen's University (2010) and a law degree from the University of Victoria (2014).
Emily grew up in Victoria, attending Glenlyon Norfolk School, and is happy to continue to call this beautiful city home. She is an avid health enthusiast who enjoys cycling and playing golf.
