Areas of Practice
Jeremy is a business lawyer who assists businesses, organizations and individuals in the areas of corporate, commercial, real estate and general business law, and in particular:
- the incorporation and governance of corporations and other organizations;
- the buying and selling of businesses;
- contract negotiation and drafting;
- commercial leasing;
- real estate development and transactions; and
- commercial lending.
Jeremy works with clients in a range of industries from technology companies to real estate developers, and his clients include organizations of all sizes from start-ups to large government organizations.
Jeremy also advises and represents individual clients in residential real estate transactions and the planning and administration of trusts, wills and estates.
Work History and Education
Jeremy served six years (2012 to 2018) as a Board member of the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, the regulatory body for pharmacy and pharmacists in the province. During his time with the College of Pharmacists, he served as the Chair of the Discipline Committee and presided over administrative discipline hearings for registrants of the College.
Jeremy has also previously taught business law as an Associate Faculty member at Royal Roads University’s School of Business.
Prior to his legal career, Jeremy worked as a senior advisor and chief of staff to several provincial government cabinet ministers. Jeremy has a business degree from the University of Victoria, a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Calgary Faculty of Law and attended the University of British Columbia Peter A. Allard School of Law on a Dean’s Letter of Permission.
