Work History and Education

Matt is an associate at Cox Taylor and was called to the bar in 2022. Matt is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group, with a practice focused the areas of creditor’s remedies, construction disputes, and insurance defence. Matt has represented clients before the Supreme and Provincial Courts of British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan over the course of his career. Prior to joining Cox Taylor, Matt practiced with a downtown Victoria litigation firm where a significant portion of his practice involved ICBC-related insurance litigation.

 

Matt is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers of BC.
