Areas of Practice
Ted specializes in commercial leasing arbitration, expropriation, employment law, shareholder disputes and general civil litigation. Ted has provided advice to the Province on resource management, parkland acquisitions and advised British Columbia Transit, South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority, and Canada Line on property acquisitions, expropriations, business disturbance, damage claims, station development, land management issues and conducted all relevant litigation and arbitration processes.
Work History and Education
Ted was admitted to the British Columbia bar in 1976. His undergraduate studies were at the University of Victoria with a law degree from the University of British Columbia (1975).
Ted is a member of the International Right of Way Association, the Law Society of British Columbia, the Victoria Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. Ted previously served as Past President of the British Columbia Expropriation Association.
