Peter is a member of Cox Taylor's solicitor group.
Noted as being extremely organized and responsive with his clients, Peter has extensive experience in corporate law and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, takeovers, corporate reorganizations, joint ventures, AI governance, SOX compliance, and regulatory communications. Peter represents individuals, private corporations, and government in real estate, procurement, M&A, technology, and corporate/ commercial matters.
Work History and Education
Peter practiced as an associate at a national law firm in its corporate/commercial practice for several years after which he acted as General Counsel for private and public corporations. Peter then rejoined another national law firm as a senior legal counsel in its corporate/commercial practice before moving to Victoria. Peter received his BA Economics from University of Victoria in 1994 and his MBA and JD from the University of British Columbia in 2005. He has been called to the British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario bars and is currently practicing in British Columbia.
